Zodiac - Kirsten Cancer

This is Kirsten "The Crustacean Queen" Cancer, the fourth one from the zodiac signs.

Funny story this picture has. I had just in my mind what I wanted from this sign - after all, cancer is a crab - than came this half woman half crab creature. So, when I drawed the fist sketch, the crab legs was like macaronis on a plate, 'cuz they were like a coner pipe. I had no idea about how to draw a crab...
That's when on television was showing that Pixar movie "Monsters Inc." from Disney and I look at the character from James Coburn [great actor] Mr. Henry J. Waternoose III. He was perfect for a crab legs model...
So I search for a pic of his character and found some from a coloring book with the perfec model. I changed the drawing to looks more like what I wanted and I than I get my crab legs. [hmm... crab legs. I'm hungry now! ^,,,^]
